I am a little bit crazy about nut butters. I have almost a whole shelf dedicated to a variety of them because they are so good and on so many things! Making your own homemade nut butters is so easy and it eliminates any weird ingredients that you see in a lot of the store-bought ones.

My favorites are almond, peanut, and cashew but lately I just tried hazelnut and pecan butters for the first time and oh my god. I am an addict. You can try mixing up the recipes by adding spices. Or compare raw nut butter to roasted nut butter which has a deeper flavor.

Nut butters are great for smearing on bread but also awesome on fruits, veggies, in soups, stews and stir fry! Sometimes people forget just how versatile nut butters can be in sweet and savory recipes!

Nut Butter Dip – A great recipe if you are looking to cut a few calories but still enjoy nut butter! Awesome for dipping fruit into!
