Instead of making goals for the upcoming month, I thought I’d look back at the last month with appreciation for how much I accomplished. I think this creates a mindset of appreciation instead of focusing on what I do not have or have not done.
I published 5 blog posts last month. This is more than in the last year combined. I am finally feeling inspired again and have some great ideas for my future articles. This will continue to be a personal blog looking at all aspects of life that I am currently interested in.
I rebranded my YouTube channel and posted a couple new videos. It is nothing fancy but a fun start. My channel is focused on trying new things. You can expect to see me trying a lot of new foods, activities and travel when they become available. Anyone who wants to check it out and subscribe would be greatly appreciated 🙂
I registered my company and am official now! I am really excited about the road ahead.
I got a lot accomplished in my personal life. First off, I pulled all my clothes out and picked only my favourite items to keep. I donated and gave away over 60% of my clothing that I no longer love. I am finding more to donate every day. I plan to invest in versatile clothing that I absolutely love and stay away from those fast-fashion temptations. I am also looking into sustainable brands that I feel more comfortable investing my money into.
I also KonMari’d my food. I only want to keep things in my house that I actually love. Sometimes I buy things because they are “healthy” or for a certain diet I am following but from now on I will focus on my absolute favorite and eliminate the rest. Every meal will be my favorite meal. The only exception might be foods that I try for the vlog.
So many of you have been reaching out to see how I am doing and I am so touched! The support has been amazing. This month has been a huge turnaround for me. I am feeling fantastic. I have really focused on my mental health and it has worked. I now know when I need to slow down.
I eliminated a couple toxic people from my life who were making my life more difficult than it needed to be. This was very hard but now is a weight off my shoulders!
I have added meditation into my day. I don’t do it every day but I am getting better!
I have added “play time” to my day as well which I really enjoy. As adults sometimes we forget to stop and have fun. Do silly things! Laugh.
I am having a green smoothie every day. I find that I feel more motivated and clear-headed on days when I do this. I have a couple all-in-one greens powders that I love.
How was February for you guys? For all my family and friends reading I just want you to know that I love you and miss you <3
