Pumpkin pie is so easy to make and you can whip up the filling in 5 minutes max. It only requires 6 ingredients (unless you want to mix up your own pumpkin pie spice). Everyone loves pumpkin pie and it is a staple at every Thanksgiving and Christmas table and therefore something I think everyone should know how to make.
Anyone who has had homemade pumpkin pie will tell you it is a million times better than the kind you can buy at the store.
You can always buy a pie crust, I hear people do that :p. BUT I put together a quick guide about how to make the perfect pie crust which you can see here.

- 2 cups pumpkin puree
- ¾ cup evaporated milk
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- ¼ tsp salt
- Mix everything together until it is very well combined
- Pour into a 9" pie shell
- Bake at 425F for 15 minutes
- Reduce to 350F and bake for 35 minutes or until a knife comes out clean
