- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1¼ cup stock (chicken or veggie)
- Combine the stock and puree in a pot and heat until your reach a slow simmer
- Season with salt and pepper as needed and serve
- You may eat as-is or garnish with any of the following: heavy cream, chopped green onions, sour cream, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice
