Baked Brie with Pear and Walnuts
  • 1 wheel of brie
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 3 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 pear thinly sliced
  • walnut halves
  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. In an oven safe dish add the brie to the center, then drop the butter and maple syrup in to the bottom, they will mix as they cook
  3. Top the brie with pear slices and walnut halves
  4. Bake for 15 minutes or until warm and bubbly
  5. Serve with an assortment of crackers
You can prepare everything in the dish ahead of time and bake later. This is what my sister did. She brought it ready for the oven from home and baked it once we were ready for appetizers.
