Cornmeal Coated Basa
  • 2 basa fillets
  • ¼ cup almond flour
  • ¼ cup cornmeal
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp paprike
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  1. Cut the basa into "fingers"
  2. Combine the remaining ingredients
  3. Lightly coat the pieces of fish and put into a nonstick pan on medium heat
  4. Cook until flaky, turning once half way. About 5 minutes total depending on the thickness of your fish
I did not egg coat my fish first because I found my fish was damp enough to hold the coating but if you do then pat the fish dry first, then dip in the egg, then into the cornmeal mix.
