A simple and quick Gluten Free Pita Bread recipe. It requires only a few ingredients and from start to finish can be made in under 25 minutes. I originally found this recipe on We Are Gluten Free and he has a cool video showing you the finished pitas.
I love a good “stir and pour” recipe! So here is the rundown of how it’s done with my review of the recipe at the end:
First off it is so easy to make! I really like that about any bread product.
I was worried it would be too “egg-y” but it wasn’t at all. The flavor and texture is great!
I don’t quite know how to stress how awesome these are! I cut one in half and opened it up into a pita and fit and entire can of tuna in them! They didn’t crack or anything! In the world of gluten free that is practically unheard-of!
I filled the second pita a couple hours later with ham and watercress.
I want to try these as a replacement for those flat hamburger buns. I actually like these much better than the gluten-free breads I can buy at the grocery store. This will be my regular “sandwich” holder.
They have this amazing buttery flavor and are so pliable. Not only will I make this again but this is being printed out and added to my Favorite Recipes book that I keep in my kitchen.

Homemade Almond Flour
Making your own almond flour is very easy and will save you a lot of money for a small amount of effort. It also allows you to control the flavor and texture. If you are interested in making your own you can check out my post here.
